New "How To" Video up!

We finally got around to making our own "How To" video to showcase how easy it is to install our decals, even the large ones that require piecing together.  It's taken a while, but I'm so glad I finally got this done and hope it provides a good explanation of how to put our decals up.

If you have any comments on how we can do this better, feel free to let me know so we can improve and possibly work on a new and better video with your feedback!

Enjoy the video!

It's our 4th Birthday this April and we want you to celebrate with us! Enjoy a 10% discount storewide (yes, even on sale items!) for the whole month! See banner below for details.

Happy Shopping!

Decorate with Headboard Decals

Launching our all new range of Headboard Decals! These will add an instant edgy update to your bedrooms so quickly and easily, now you have even more reason to decorate! Say goodbye to boring (or non-existing) bedframes!

We are very excited (and proud of) our customisable headboards which you can personalise with your initials to make it all the more personal (since it's in your bedroom)! Check out the BaRoque and Mr & Mrs designs! All designs are original and created by Decorette and cannot be found anywhere else!

Additional "legs" also come with all designs so you can add these to the bottom of the headboard decals and make them stand from the ground up.  This is perfect for beds that do not have any frames  or headboards behind them.

Or if you already have a headboard (like the picture above), you can stick these above the existing headboards so them seem to sit on top of your headboard - this adds an even funkier and interesting look to your bedrooms!

All designs are available in Single (36" wide), Queen (60" wide) or King (72" wide) size, or you can always contact us to create one to fit the size of your bed.

Installation at NTU Innovation Centre

So our customer asked us to create an "urban street feel" for their new cafe at NTU's Innovation Centre and we were more than happy to be a part of their project. I love decorating new places and giving them a totally new look with Decorettes!

As a place for people to come and share new ideas (hence the name "Pitchstop"), they wanted some designs that would help tie in with this theme, so here's what we come up with! We hope you like  these as much as we enjoyed designing and putting them up!

Oh, and if you are a student at NTU, do pay them a visit and give them your support! It's a lovely place to just chill and hang out, have a beer... whilst admiring our decals :)

Customer Showcase

Our customer recently shared some pictures of the decals they DIY-ed to decorate the various meeting rooms in their office and I must say, they look FAB! Yes, they put this all up themselves!

To help them with the visualisation, we superimposed the designs they chose from the Decorette Online Store onto some pictures they gave us of their blank walls, then paired them with Custom Quotes that they specified to ensure that these decals would fill up enough wall space (and not end up looking too tiny!). I love the quotes that they've used to inspire, encourage and boost motivation. Very fitting for an office!

Apart from the gorgeous colours they've used to brighten up their spaces, our decals make a whole lot of difference (if I must say so myself). So here you go, a showcase to inspire you to decorate!

So we hope this makes your day as much as it made ours! Feel free to drop us a comment on what you think (love it? hate it?), or let us know if you'd like us to help spruce up your spaces with our decals too! We'd love to hear from you!

Decorating with Floral Patterns

Pom Pom Decals from Decorette

Decorating empty spaces using floral patterns can create quite an amazing transformation! As individual floral motifs, these are so versatile, you can place them however you like to suit your space and create your own unique look (unless of course you have no creative sense whatsoever, then there's nothing wrong in just following how we do it!).

If it's been a while since you've redecorated, why not rejuvenate your homes with these floral decals - you'll be surprised at what a difference they make! A fun, yet affordable way of sprucing up any empty space, whether big or small.

Here are some ways you can use our floral decals in your homes:

• Drape the flowers around a corner to make it look more cosy (and less empty!);

• Create a "wallpaper pattern" on a large mirror or glass door - it may just save someone from walking into it!
• Strategically stick them on shower screens to create that little bit of privacy (with a bit of class);

• Randomly place them around pillars to make these sometimes obtrusive objects a little more appealing;
• Stick them on those blank white (and boring!) Ikea tables, chairs, shelves, etc to make it that little bit more special!
